Ruth Nestvold – What’s New

John Joseph Adams put up an interview with me about my short story “Mars: A Traveler’s Guide,” which is in the most recent F&SF (January 2008). Also, some nice reviews of the story already here and here.

Sold my story “If Tears Were Wishes” to Abyss and Apex. It’s a dark and light contemporary fantasy set in my old home town of Eugene, Oregon, with second generation hippies and revenge and the consequences of having tears that will grant wishes.

I’ve been asked to be a Guest of Honor at the annual ItalCon / DeepCon in Fiuggi next year. Two other guests have already confirmed, the actors Claudia Christian from Babylon 5 and Tom Braidwood from X-Files.
